Containment bench Nico Duin
The Nico Duin locking bench consists of a vertically placed sheet of 10 mm thick steel. Holes have been drilled in it, center-to-center distance 90 mm, so that the cylinder is always almost straight on the joint, thus ensuring that this joint is properly pressed shut.
The blade is angled at 9 degrees. The reason for this is, that otherwise the operator has to bend forward too much at higher uprights. Now he can stand almost straight.
Six standard cylinders are included. These have a stroke of 150 mm and a chrome shaft of 30 mm. A magnet is attached to the back so that the cylinder can be placed at any desired angle (e.g. ridge frames). If necessary, the number of cylinders can be extended indefinitely.

Fine-needle stops are used with a calf in the frame. The stoppers are placed in the frame on the leaf and then finely adjusted. The advantage of this is that you no longer need to use shims.
