Under the motto "better a small boss than a large employee" Gerard Danklof started his home-based joinery in 1978. Instead of a car, the garage housed reliable machinery for making doors, frames, and stairs. The company soon relocated to the then-new industrial estate. Today, Danklof Joinery is known for craftsmanship and quality, with an eye for the environment by exclusively using hardwood sourced from specially planted forests.
