Makeover of the Carpentry Shop at Van Swaay
Van Swaay, based in Wageningen, Gelderland, is a general contracting firm and project developer with all disciplines under one roof. Its in-house carpentry shop produces items such as wooden window frames and windows for both its own projects and those of third parties. Due to increasing demand, Van Swaay began looking for new production machinery and automation solutions.
The carpentry shop has been thoroughly overhauled with the installation of an automatic crosscut saw, a four-sided planer, and a CNC machining center. The Sawmaster Pro is at the start of the process. Thanks to its integration with the work planning system, cutting lists are imported, after which the Sawmaster Pro uses optimization software to ensure the highest possible efficiency.
The BMH Windowmaster 10 is the centerpiece of the woodworking shop. Since space was limited, the Windowmaster 10 fit perfectly into the layout thanks to its compact dimensions. Because the Windowmaster 10 is equipped with a 5-axis motor and a specially designed machining table, the possibilities are endless.
Van Swaay’s transformation is now complete with the Kuper XE four-sided planer. A fully featured machine with compact dimensions, yet offering the renowned Kuper quality.
We wish Van Swaay much success with this wonderful addition to their woodworking facility and thank them for their pleasant cooperation throughout the entire process.
